A dream is just a dream. A goal is just a goal if we dont take the step forward to grab it its useless. Is it worth it coming to practice week after week practicing for 3 hours and having footdrill. pounding your foot as you march on the spot with every aching step that surges through your body and mind if you dont succeed in the end?
Let this question linger in your mind and hearts. Strive to achieve whats yours. Me posting isnt just to nag but to motivate. I may not be around to sit in during band practice but if you keep putting ur mind into what your doing, that is practicing, my job is done as a senior. You've reach the halfway mark in your journey towards SYF so dont let the build up be wasted. Perseverence is the key to success. Think of others in the band. Your absence may be the cause of the downfall of the WHOLE band. A nation before self they say so think of others before you think for yourself. Dont be that inconsiderate jerk that is always MIA.
I've trust in Northbrooks Concert Band that you guys will do whats right into realising that what you want in the end is to attain an achievement and hopefully not embarressment.

hey its me, kamiyah in the house to update this band blog!!!
did u ppl had fun during the 2 day 1 night camp? i hope so =)
well... im quite impressed wif the band members performance during the camp...
ur discipline was not bad... playing... ermmmm can say good lar(surprised u all can play better when u're sleepy?!)
hahas... and then many participate in the activities given... that was good!!!
especially the "to the rescue!" game... which flour went all over ur face and place... haha! and then use ur taste buds... and the drink bitter ice coffee w/o sugar... and then form human formation in the quickest time!!! (impressed huh!?) lol...
even more... all of u were engrossed in the movie screening - drumline... hahaur footdrills are improving but still cannot say pass... if we work as one team play as one band... it will be perfect!do everything wif a positive attitude... =)i hope u all have learnt something throughout this camp...REMEMBER!!! AIM FOR SYF 2007- GOLD OR MAINTAIN A SILVER!!!!! heheps: i would like to wish the alumni band... congratulation for starting the alumni band again!!!! whee =Phehe x)see ya on 19 december at the music room at 7.45 am SHARP!!!..ur section leaders will be calling u to remind u... =)bye!k a m i y a h s i g n i n g o f f

Hello people. Its me,xinhui here. Heard that attendance for band hasn't been very good ever since last week. Many people are still missing frm band prac. Pls don't avoid band practice animore. If u still wishes to do the school proud by attaining silver or gold, pls do turn up for band practice on thursday. There is no point if the seniors keep ranting at you but u yourself do not take your innitiative to come for band practice. Like wat i have said in my previous post, u reali wanna let your seniors hard work go down the drain? Think carefully. It would be meaningless if only a certain protion of band members coming for band prac.So pls turn up for band prac at 8am on thu.
