BAND CAMP 2009 - Bonding With One Another

yes seniors/alumnis,
there was band camp, on the 2 - 4 january.
it was a last minute decision but the camp turned out really well.
it was planned and organized by the band alumnis & mrs ng. (:
the camp was awesome.
it wouldnt have been a success without the band members.
surprisingly, many turned up, which is a good thing! (:
the band members bonded with each other during games, cheers & talks.
the band was separated into three different groups;
Group A; Superman, lead by Yingling & Nicholas.
Group B; Popeye, lead by Shikin & Kamiyah.
& Group C; Hello Kitty, lead by Tsu Hui & Iskandar/Timothy(no wonder its hello kitty).
we had tons of games like Water Rag, AEIOU Shield My Babies, Amazing Race, Keep A Distance, Captain's Ball & Think Out Of The Box.
The band sure bonded during those games, especially AEIOU & Amazing Race, when they suffered aches after that.
Im sure they enjoyed AEIOU, it was a new game to them.
we also had the Sec 1 CCA selection day on saturday.
Many Sec 1s were so willing to try the instruments & they were so eager.
We performed four pieces, Lord Of The Rings, Junior Rock, A Song For You & Winter In The 1730s. Alumnis helped out too! :D

today, the students are back to school for their 2nd day of school. :D
btw, there will be band practices on tuesday, thursday & saturdays.
alumnis feel free to drop by, especially on saturdays.
after practices, we can always bond with the members, like lunch or a game of captains ball!
we need to make the band members feel like a family, just like how we used to.
anyway, what happened to the alumni band?? ><
im suggesting that we should start up the alumni band again.
so that the alumnis can help the main band for preparations for SYF.
we can also have concerts together! it will be a different thing for the band.
so alumnis, if you're willing to start up the 'A' band again, tell me by tagging at my blog. (:
i will need to submit in the names to mrs ng. (:
