A dream is just a dream. A goal is just a goal if we dont take the step forward to grab it its useless. Is it worth it coming to practice week after week practicing for 3 hours and having footdrill. pounding your foot as you march on the spot with every aching step that surges through your body and mind if you dont succeed in the end?
Let this question linger in your mind and hearts. Strive to achieve whats yours. Me posting isnt just to nag but to motivate. I may not be around to sit in during band practice but if you keep putting ur mind into what your doing, that is practicing, my job is done as a senior. You've reach the halfway mark in your journey towards SYF so dont let the build up be wasted. Perseverence is the key to success. Think of others in the band. Your absence may be the cause of the downfall of the WHOLE band. A nation before self they say so think of others before you think for yourself. Dont be that inconsiderate jerk that is always MIA.
I've trust in Northbrooks Concert Band that you guys will do whats right into realising that what you want in the end is to attain an achievement and hopefully not embarressment.
