hey, I want to clear somethings. To Shikin. (Or maybe its someone else.) Firstly, please indicated what you mean by the band is retarted already. I have to admit that our band is really not going far due to the attendance problem. Our committee has been leading the band for 6mths. Although 6 mths is long. But please rmb, we are inexperience. We are adapting and trying of ways to solve problems in the band. Have anyone ever thought of this questions ?
ARE THE MEMBERS IN THE BAND REALLY PASSING DOWN THEIR KNOWLEDGE TO THEIR FELLOW JUNIORS ? For example, a senior, he/she can play very well, this person know all the fingerings of the instruments, know how to play different types of articulation. But the question is, did this senior teach every single skill that he/she knows to the juniors?
Its the same for leaders of the band, ppl dont share their experience.Knowledge and skills are not passed down and therefore, each time a batch step down, these skills are lost. The juniors have to learn by their own experience. Besides the members' personal attitude, this is one of the main cause that the band gets worse year by year. Its very sad. Human beings dont like to share. Its even sadder. Why the previous leaders did not spot this mistake?
Worse. I only realised this now.
But im not going to do nothing. Im going to stop this. I wont say that i will definitely succeed. But I have plans, long term plans. This ofcus wont take just overnight. And im going to carry out my plans.
I cant stop criticism. But if you can do better, Why didn you? -yingling.
